As we step into the new year, 2025, I’ve been reflecting deeply on the word that God has placed on my heart for the months ahead: Revive.
To revive is to breathe new life, to restore something that has become weary, and to renew what has been lost. It’s a powerful call for transformation—a call not just for the physical, but for the soul, for the spirit. In our spiritual walk, God invites us into a season of revival. He longs to reawaken our hearts, rekindle our faith, and reignite the deep passion we once had for Him.
In the scriptures, Psalm 85:6 beautifully expresses this longing:
“Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?”
This prayer resonates deeply with my spirit. It’s a plea for God’s intervention in our lives—to bring us back to a place where we not only acknowledge His presence but rejoice in it, overflowing with joy and gratitude. It’s a reminder that revival isn’t just about change; it’s about being awakened to the fullness of God’s grace and love.
Isaiah 44:3
“For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.”
As we enter this new year, let this be a season of spiritual renewal. Let it be a time where we lay down the burdens of the past, where we surrender our hearts to His transformative power, and where we open ourselves to experience His grace in a fresh, vibrant way.
Revival isn’t just a one-time event; it’s an ongoing process. It’s a continuous cycle of being filled with His Spirit, restored in His love, and empowered to live out His purpose. As we ask for revival, we are not simply seeking an emotional experience, but a genuine, deep renewal that shapes every aspect of our lives—our hearts, our minds, our actions.
This is my prayer for you, my dear friends , as we embark on 2025 together. May this year be marked by a deep, personal revival—an awakening that leads us into greater intimacy with God and a more purposeful, passionate life in Him. May we find ourselves rejoicing in His goodness, His faithfulness, and His endless love.
