We Are Pioneers – A Word from the Red Light

Written on 26 May 2025  at 4:26 PM. Released in obedience after the Lord’s nudge on 20 Dec 2025 at 11:41 AM.

A Devotional Reflection

It was an ordinary school drop-off morning.

The kind where everything looks normal on the outside, but your heart feels heavy on the inside. I was going through the motions, yet carrying questions I didn’t have answers to—burdened by circumstances that felt too rough, too uncertain, too hopeless.

As I drove, I cried out to God in the quiet of my heart:

“Why is this so hard, Lord? Why does everything feel like a dead end?”

Then I reached a red light.

I stopped.

Everything around me paused—but my thoughts raced. And right there, in the middle of the mundane, God whispered something that cut through the fog in my heart:

It’s because you are a pioneer. And so is your daughter.”

Those words settled deeply within me.

You are walking paths no one has walked before.

You are in situations no one else has been placed in.

You don’t have a man to look up to—because I’m calling you to look up to Me.

I will make the path for you.

In that moment, something supernatural happened. Peace wrapped around me. A smile broke through the heaviness. And I whispered out loud

Jesus, You are amazing. Thank You

Since that day, the word pioneer has echoed in my spirit.

The Reminder We All Need

Recently, during a prayer session at my daughter’s school, God brought that word back to me—this time not just for me, but for all of us.

WE ARE PIONEERS

As we lifted our needs, doubts, fears, and uncertainties to heaven, I heard Him again:

You have been given the power to steer things the right way.

It’s a choice—but with the help of the Holy Spirit, it is a choice we can make… and one we must make.

Pioneers don’t follow the crowd—they lead it

Pioneers don’t wait to see what’s been done—they step into what’s never been done before

And while others look around for direction, we look up—because God Himself is leading us.

Pause & Reflect:

Where in your life do you feel like you’re standing at a red light—waiting, wondering, unsure?

What if that pause is actually God preparing you to go first?

A Prophetic Declaration

I prophesy today

• We will not sway from the calling God has placed on our lives.

• We will strengthen our stakes.

• We will stand firm when the impossible hits.

• We will be bold when the world expects us to bow.

• We will walk forward—even when the path doesn’t yet exist—because He is making a way.

I don’t say this from a mountaintop or in a season of ease.

I say this from the middle of my own battles.

And this I know without doubt: God is raising up pioneers.

People like you.

Like me.

Like our children.

So instead of looking elsewhere for answers, let’s look to Him.

He is writing a path no one else can walk but you—because you’ve been chosen to go first.

And in every red-light moment, when life feels paused or impossible, He is still speaking:

You are a Pioneer

Scripture Reflection

“See, I am doing a new thing!

Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

I am making a way in the wilderness

and streams in the wasteland.”

— Isaiah 43:19 (NIV)

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going

— Hebrews 11:8 (ESV)

Journal Prompt:

What “new thing” might God be inviting you into—even if you don’t yet see the full path?

The Pioneer’s Prayer

Father God,

Thank You for calling me to walk with You, even when the path is unfamiliar.

Remind me that being a pioneer is not a burden—it is a holy invitation.

When I feel weary, unsure, or alone, help me remember that You go before me.

May I follow Your voice over comfort.

May I trust Your leading over logic.

Holy Spirit, fill me with courage to stand firm when it feels impossible.

Anchor my heart in Your Word.

Guide every step I take so I may blaze trails that bring light, healing,

and glory to Your name.

I declare today:

I will not sway from the calling on my life.

I will strengthen my stakes.

I will pioneer in faith, not fear—because You walk with me.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

In His Hands: Finding Peace in God’s Goodness

Today, I am reminded of God’s goodness and faithfulness and that He can give us more than we can ask or imagine.

Every time I watch that video, God reminds me of the lyrics my daughter sang: “He’s got the whole world in His hands.” Last week, whenever my mind started to wander or anxiety crept in, those words brought life to my heart, mind, and soul.

In those moments of doubt and fear, I was reminded of God’s unfailing goodness. He cares for each of us intimately, holding our worries as gently as a parent cradles a child. His love is constant and unchanging, providing a refuge in times of trouble.

Whatever you’re facing today, I want to encourage you: “He’s got the whole world in His hands” (Isaiah 41:10). If the whole world is in His hands, that means so are you—along with all your worries, anxieties, and fears. Trust Him to handle everything; He’s got this, and He’ll take care of your concerns too!

Remember, His goodness surrounds us, and His care is a reminder that we are never alone in our struggles. Let His peace wash over you today.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding us that we are safe in Your hands. Help us to trust in Your goodness and to lean on You in our times of anxiety and fear. May we feel Your love enveloping us, bringing peace to our hearts and minds. Guide us as we navigate our challenges, and let us always remember that we are never alone. Fill us with Your strength and comfort today. In Jesus’ name, we pray,

Amen

STRENGTH FROM ABOVE

Happy 8th Anniversary #FromHisHeartToYours🥳

Today marks exactly 8 years since I started blogging and the Lord nudged me to reshare my first written post on this blog

I pray that as you read the below first blog written on 20th Oct 2015, your heart will be reminded of the hope that is forever in Jesus and that you will find your strength from above, the author and perfecter of your faith, the One who knows it all . His timing is perfect and He never leaves you alone

Strength From Above

The Lord put this in my heart this morning !! As I was just sitting with my morning coffee, and trying hard to battle my thoughts and the overwhelming situations currently in my life. The Lord reminded me that the battle is His and all I need to do is fix my eyes on Him for strength !! He has got it ALL !! Hallelujah !! Love you Jesus 🙂

Heb 12:2 Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith

Terrors of giants surrounded me
Too big for me to handle
Too powerful for me to tackle
I looked to You for help
Refusing to give up on the battle
And the precious life you gifted me

You gave me a sling
A sling of powerful prayer
And a stone to go along with it
A stone of mountain moving faith
You shielded me with Armour
An Armour of courage and Strength
Covered me with undeserving Grace
and topped it up with unconditional Love

Now I will march forth and along
In the army of the Lord
The battle is the Lord’s
He promised to be there , always
I have to just hold His hand
In my dance with Him
And let Him lead me

My God is all able
My God is all powerful
My God has conquered it ALL
Just for you and me
We are more than conquerors
Through Him and His strength
Fix your eyes on Jesus
That’s how the battle is won

Stay Blessed In Him 💖

Strength When Broken

WHEN LIFE SEEMS STILL

Strength when Broken. Psalm 34:18-20

He knows everything. Today is an invitation for you to Know your Fathers Heart

18 The Lord is close to all whose hearts are crushed by pain,
and He is always ready to restore the repentant one.

19 Even when bad things happen to the good and godly ones,
the Lord will save them and not let them be defeated by what they face.

20 God will be your bodyguard to protect you ,when trouble is near.
Not one bone will be broken.

In moments of deep pain, @bdwmusic “I Know “ speaks to my broken heart . Pondering on His goodness and taking time to know His heart, gives the reassurance that I don’t have to do it alone

May He minister to your heart today as you lean into Him with all your pain and troubled heart. He knows. It’s time for you to Know He cares for you deeply

Lyrics for the song below 👇

You don’t answer all my questions
But You hear me when I speak
You don’t keep my heart from breakin’
But when it does, You weep with me
You’re so close that I can feel You
When I’ve lost the words to pray
And though my eyes have never seen You

I’ve seen enough to say
I know that You are good
I know that You are kind
I know that You are so much more
Than what I leave behind
I know that I am loved
I know that I am safe
‘Cause even in the fire to live is Christ, to die is gain
I know that You are good

I don’t understand the sorrow
But You’re calm within the storm
Sometime this weight is overwhelming
But I don’t carry it alone
You’re still close when I can’t feel You
I don’t have to be afraid
And though my eyes have never seen You

On my darkest day
From my deepest pain
Through it all, my heart, will choose to sing Your praise
On my darkest day
From my deepest pain
Through it all, my heart, will choose to sing Your praise

Faith Over Fear

My prayer for you today is Ephesians 3:14-21

14 So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah

15 The perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth.

16 And I pray that He would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power.

17 Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life.

18–19 Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!

20 Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for His miraculous power constantly energizes you.

21 Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ—and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen!

Choose to overcome the fear that is terrorising you with His faith that empowers you. God is reminding you today that He is for you, He is with you and He is fighting the battle for you. Exchange your worries for His peace. Fear is a lie. Faith is the truth that exposes the lie. Trust Him enough to take care of your life. He is waiting for you. Say YES to Jesus today and unfold the abundant life He has for you
