VALLEYS

1 Peter 1:6-7

6 In all this you greatly rejoice,though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed

6. இதிலே நீங்கள் மிகவும் சந்தோஷப்படுகிறீர்கள்; என்றாலும், துன்பப்படவேண்டியது அவசியமானதால், இப்பொழுது கொஞ்சக்காலம் பலவிதமான சோதனைகளினாலே துக்கப்படுகிறீர்கள்.
7. அழிந்துபோகிற பொன் அக்கினியினாலே சோதிக்கப்படும்; அதைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதிக விலையேறப்பெற்றதாயிருக்கிற உங்கள் விசுவாசம் சோதிக்கப்பட்டு, இயேசுகிறிஸ்து வெளிப்படும்போது உங்களுக்குப் புகழ்ச்சியும் கனமும் மகிமையுமுண்டாகக் காணப்படும்.

In a Christian walk with God, Life’s Valleys are Faith Checkpoints. The valleys could be anything from relationship breakdown, loss of a loved one, loss of Job, divorce, addiction, not experiencing God’s presence, loneliness, rejection and feelings of unworthiness. The list goes on.

When as believers we face all these trials and grief in our day to day lives, where do we actually put our trust on? Where do we rely for our strength ? That’s when our faith in Christ comes in action and practical in real life

Today, take a moment to think.. It doesn’t matter how deep your valley is and how painful your journey is, where is your faith at ?

If it’s not with God, it’s still not too late to cry out for help right for where you are. He is a gracious God and full of mercy who is waiting to help you. All you need to do is allow Him to doso.

Dear God,

I do not understand the reason of this phase in my life.I pray that you meet me right in the midst of my valley and help me in my faith. Help me to be a good and faithful servant in You. In Jesus Name Amen
