Re-Establish ( Easter Devotion Day 3)

We live in a fallen world. The devil comes to only steal, kill and destroy our joy and happiness. God defeated satan at the Cross and established the pathway to eternal life for us. The price God had to pay to re-establish salvation for humanity was the life of Jesus

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full – John 10:10

As you read this very post, you might be going through a very hard phase in your life. Be it financial crisis, relationship breakdown, loss of loved ones. Life might look like its never going to look normal ever again. Your heart might be disheartened to see everything that you had established so far collapsing and crumbling down. You might feel like there is no way out. BUT GOD..

God says ” I am not done with you YET “. He invites you to partner with Him as He promises to re-establish your life

11 I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out – plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. 12 “When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I’ll listen. 13 “When you come looking for me, you’ll find me – Jeremiah 29

As we continue to dig deeper into our hearts this Easter preparation time, let’s ponder on the areas of our lives that needs a re-establishment regime. For myself it has been my untimely divorce. An area of my life where I believed the lie that everything in my life was over when the divorce happened. I was too afraid to step out, to move on or even think of a new relationship for fear of hurt and pain that I had to previously endure. I had to break ties with the lies I believed so far, trust God and give that area to God for Him to work through. I had to renounce my control of things and let God do the narrative in my life in that area. I had to let God re-establish peace and joy in that area of pain and rejection. When I did that God re-established my life with freedom, joy and peace that surpasses all understanding. My first step towards experiencing that was to choose to trust Him that He loves me too much to see me in hurt and understand that God is for me in all my battles

Today my dear friend, it is your turn. To surrender your area of that ‘broken’ and ‘hopeless’ situation where you feel like all hope is lost. God want’s to re-establish things for you this Easter season. Easter is a season of celebrating hope restored and God wants to do just that for you

Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go – Provers 3:5-6

Make this your prayer today

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for your Word. Thank You for speaking to me, encouraging me and being there for me. Please forgive me for my sins and things I have done to hurt you or disappoint you. Thank You for the gift of Easter season which reminds us that there is hope because of Jesus. You know the areas of my life that need re-establishment. I give them to you right now. I ask Lord that you repair, restore and re-establish those areas as your territory. I want to live a life that honors You. I choose to believe that though there is sorrow joy comes in the morning. Lord I pray that you will help me to always see light at the end of the tunnel and also while being in the tunnel because You are with me
In Jesus Name
Amen

Blessings in Him
