Re-Align ( Easter Devotion Day 2)

I became a born again Christian 19 years ago. Since then I have been captivated by the amazing grace of God. How He is the sovereign God, yet He is a gentleman. His Word proves that nothing is impossible with Him and for Him yet He waits for us to patiently come to Him. His unconditional love makes sure that the worst mess of our lives does not get us to the pitfalls but always reaches out with never ending Hope. When our life derails with our bad choices, He helps re-align so we get an opportunity to live an eternal life with Him

Jesus is a true living God. He does not sugar coat things or does not seek meaningless sacrifices that benefit Him. Jesus warns us in the Word that in this world we will have trouble. It is not going to be a bed of roses but He promises that He will be there, if we reach out to Him.

For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world – John 16:33

When our choices do not align with the Word of God and His values, we can be sure that they are bad choices . Bad choices always lead to bad consequences and a double standard life filled with lies. The devil gets the win there with his deceived schemes and false illusions that he clouds our mind with. The equilibrium in maintaining peace and truth in our lives depends on not just how much our life is aligned with the Word of God but also how much we activate it in our day to day lives

Today is an invitation to allow yourself to build an unshakable Jesus foundation for your life. God promises us that when we do that nothing, absolutely nothing can collapse your home. As the Lord will be your fortress and your ever present help in time of that trouble. It does not matter how much you have messed up, how far you have run away from God or how much terrible choices you have made in your life so far. Condemnation and shame is not from God.

God is inviting you today to build your life on the solid ground of Jesus’s teachings from the Bible. To a life filled with abundant hope, peace and truth.

Everyone who hears my teaching and applies it to his life can be compared to a wise man who built his house on an unshakable foundation. When the rains fell and the flood came, with fierce winds beating upon his house, it stood firm because of its strong foundation. “But everyone who hears my teaching and does not apply it to his life can be compared to a foolish man who built his house on sand. When it rained and rained and the flood came, with wind and waves beating upon his house, it collapsed and was swept away – Matthew 7:24-27

Say this prayer with me

Dear Heavenly Father ,
Thank you for the gift of Jesus to me. As I reflect on your unconditional love for me this Easter, I also acknowledge that my life is not where it is supposed to be. I thank You that You are a God of second chance. I confess before you that I am not enough to do my life on this earth. I need you, your wisdom in every single decisions I make and every single choices I step into. I ask that you help re-align my life in accordance to Your Word. I break free from the lie that I have believed so far that I can handle it all by myself. Please forgive me for my ignorance. Help me to constantly have a reality check for my life and consistently re-align my life with Your hearts purpose and will. Let this Easter be a new beginning , with new hope arising that with You, I am never alone.
In Jesus Name
Amen

Blessings in Him
