Human heart is so unpredictable. No wonder the Bible tells us to guard our hearts as from it flows everything in our life
Above all else, guard your heart
for everything you do flows from it
Proverbs 4:23
In an uncontrolled mind, feelings take precedence over our heart. When it comes to our spiritual walk with God, our gratitude towards God should not be based JUST on what He has or will do for us but rather on His character and what He has already done for us. God’s character or the very existence of God does not change just because you feel a certain way about God. God is God.
God is THE-GREAT-I-AM
13 Then Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the People of Israel and I tell them, ‘The God of your fathers sent me to you’; and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ What do I tell them?”

Through Jesus our lives came to existence on this earth and through our belief in Him will our lives be taken to eternity. He is the alpha and the omega
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
Revelations 22:13
Jesus is our promised Messiah, our resurrected King , the sacrificed sinless lamb and the victorious son who obeyed His father to the feet of death. When Jesus died that horrific death on the Cross , He thought of you and me.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who [a]is to come, the Almighty.”
Revelations 1:8
As mere humans, we all have our own weaknesses. Sometimes, intentionally or unintentionally , we base our faith towards God based on our circumstances, our happenings in life , the situations in the world and sometimes answered / unanswered prayers. Fortunately God doesn’t not change along with our thinking or feelings. The Bible says that He is the same yesterday, today and forever. When we praise God for who He is or when we get angry at God when things are not happening the way we wanted or when we wonder where God is when there is so much injustice happening to innocent lives, GOD IS STILL THE SAME LOVING FATHER. He is STILL the same loving, caring, protecting, guiding, leading, healing and delivering Father towards all that trusts in and calls on His name.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever
Hebrews 13:8
When we learn to trust God through the lens of His beautiful character, His unconditional love and unfailing faithfulness will shine through.
The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love Psalm 145:8
“The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, 7maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Exodus 34:6-7
My prayer for you today is from Philippians 4:6-7
6-7 Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
