Time and Time again there is ONE issue that gets me ALL the time. I try my hardest but still FAIL at it. I am sure some of you would have come across this most annoying issue, that is if you own a phone or a computer. DISK SPACE FULL
Okay, I am not a big MAC person but I do use an iPhone with a HUGE 128GB storage. STILL I have this constant issue of my iPhone getting full as I keep installing applications as I please and take pictures as I please. As a result, when I REALLY need to capture a cute moment of my daughter or install an app that I really need , I JUST CAN’T. There is NO OTHER way than for me to delete unwanted stuff from my iPhone for me to upload the stuff that I really need.
Our human lives mirror this iPhone storage issue a lot. We often fill our life’s vacuum and empty feelings with things that are our wants and that makes us feel better, temporarily. Let’s be honest here. How many of us in those despair moments of life have had a pity party to ourselves, with loads of chocolate on the bed and watching emotional movies JUST feeling sorry for ourselves. I have been down that road and it did not take long for me to realise that , that path was literally self gratification and self destruction. I am all for self-care but there is a fine line between self-care and self-pity. I learnt that despair moments are overcome with praise moments with God. In as much ridiculous as it sounds, it is REAL and it has ALWAYS worked for me
God promises an abundant life for us, a life that is fulfilling and satisfying just the way He has planned in His perfect will for us
Jesus told this simple story, but they had no idea what he was talking about. So he tried again. “I’ll be explicit, then. I am the Gate for the sheep. All those others are up to no good—sheep stealers, every one of them. But the sheep didn’t listen to them. I am the Gate. Anyone who goes through me will be cared for—will freely go in and out, and find pasture. A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of
John 10:6-10
There is ONLY 2 things that we need to do to enjoy the eternal and better life that God promises. Doing these 2 things will help us enter into a partnership with God, where God will bring to surface the things that need to be dealt in our lives. When we take His help and act as per His instructions, He will help us CLEAR THAT SPACE that you have been trying to clear with your own strength and finding it seemingly stuck and impossible.
FIRSTLY, Invite the Holy Spirit into our lives
God sent the Holy Spirit so He can help us through our lives on this earth
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
John 14:26-27
God’s love is equally merciful and gracious in as much as corrective and disciplinary
26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. 28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

SECONDLY, Live our lives by the Word of God.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness
2 Timothy 3:16-17
The BIBLE has the solution every single problems of our lives. Only if we devour it like a soul starving for food, it will become a feast to our entire body and soul, teaching us and enabling us to live a life worthy of Christ
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Joshua 1:8
My Prayer for you this day of lent season is that May you allow God to bring to surface that needs to be dealt with and when that happens May He give you the strength and grace to address THOSE things that try to take up HIS SACRED space in your lives
